Mastercard is deepening its foothold in the digital asset space through a new collaboration with crypto payment provider MoonPay. The partnership aims to simplify stablecoin transactions, enabling seamless crypto payments for 150 million businesses worldwide.

The card giant has been vocal about its ambitions in blockchain-based financial solutions. Earlier developments include a proprietary protocol designed to facilitate retail and institutional crypto transactions. This latest MOVE signals accelerating institutional adoption of stablecoins as a payment rail.
